Contra Costa County acknowledged November 3rd as Black Family Health Day, following the #DeliverBirthJustice campaign by the California Perinatal Equity Initiative (PEI). The campaign brought together five Bay Area counties, including Contra Costa, to raise awareness about the disparities affecting Black women and babies in the region.
