Alameda County Housing and Community Development held their Housing Outreach Summit this week, focusing on narrative-based strategic communications. Black to the Future Action Fund joined the GOST Network and Climate Power to host forum in Albany, GA, addressing ongoing housing insecurity and rising energy costs in South Georgia, against the backdrop of redistricting and voter suppression efforts by the state. Attendees heard from community leaders, elected officials, and Georgia organizers about the significance of the upcoming June elections and special legislative session on redistricting in Georgia. The aimed to help South Georgians understand ways to address the affordability crisis together through local organizing and advocacy. Read more in WALB.
