Yesterday, almost 300 people joined YWFC for a launch event lifting up the expertise and experiences of the community experts that bravely shared their stories for the report. Creatives in Place, a project launched by Tao Rising and Akonadi Foundation, collected interviews from 22 Bay Area artists “to serve as a kind of a listening project for donors in our digital world. The intent is to encourage a more bottom-up donor as opposed to a top-down model where the true needs of artists are heard and met.” More about the one-of-a-kind project at SF Arts
