The Black Collective Foundation MN has launched its 2025–2026 New Suns Fellowship Cohort, directly investing more than half a million in 20 Black racial justice leaders across the Twin Cities. This expanded fellowship equips leaders through $20,000 individual grants, executive coaching, and wellness-centered support. We’re also excited for our longtime partners at Akonadi Foundation who introduced their newest grantee partners of the 2025 So Love Can Win Fund. This year, 23 grantees received a total of $400,000 in project support to advance racial justice, belonging, and collective liberation. Check out the details here

 

“We’re funding groups to make sure people who don’t feel a part of partisan battles feel what’s at stake, which is pushing back on federal fascism, making sure voters can pick the politicians they want, and protecting American democracy.” said Ludovic Blain, Executive Director of the California Donor Table (CDT) to Politico as the organization invests in a strategy to expand democratic participation around Proposition 50 by reaching voters who are too often ignored by traditional campaigns.
