Her words come as Minnesota has become a flashpoint where Black and immigrant communities are collectively bearing the weight of state violence and philanthropic retreat following recent intensified immigrant raids. Since the killing of Renee Nicole Good, BCFMN stepped forward, grounded in a belief that Black people’s safety and dignity are deeply connected across immigration status and background.
