Change Consulting is honored to support in bringing to life The Culture Keepers, a storytelling platform that uplifts the Bay Area’s cultural backbone – the artists, culture workers, and creative leaders shaping our collective sense of belonging.

We partnered with the initiative team led by Vanessa Camarena-Arredondo to ideate and prepare for the project, developing messaging and helping ID a name that reflected the essential services these creative leaders provide to our community. We also helped develop content for the website; developed a social media and email strategy and content; a social media toolkit to equip partners to share the project to their own network; and promoted the launch via media relations.

Together with these artists and cultural leaders, we’re celebrating the truth that culture is community infrastructure; it’s how we remember, heal, and thrive. The Culture Keepers project invites all of us to ask how we are keeping culture. Visit http://TheCultureKeepers.org to meet the artists, watch and listen to their stories, and join us in supporting the people who keep our culture alive.

Introduced in 2024, the “tough on crime ballot measure…really played on the public anxiety around retail theft, the public health crisis around fentanyl, and homelessness…The failure of this really lies in the fact that we are punishing addiction and survival behaviors and not treating the root causes of addiction,” said Tinisch Hollins, Executive Director of Californians for Safety and Justice.
