Kay Cuajunco (she/her/siya) is passionate about amplifying stories that center resilience and self-determination. With more than a decade of experience as an organizer, filmmaker, and communications strategist, she has worked with frontline organizers and statewide alliances across movements for racial, economic, educational, and environmental justice. Currently as Vice President of Strategy, Kay leads our strategy development for organizations, coalitions, and campaigns, facilitates trainings, and serves as a coach.
Kay holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an interdisciplinary Master’s from San Francisco State University. She received her coaching certification from Blooming Willow, supporting BIPOC changemakers to grow and heal as they design a future to advance our collective liberation, and has also been a coach through ReFrame Academy, supporting individuals and movements to build narrative power to win. She finds joy being in or near the ocean, rivers, and hot springs.
