Rosenberg Foundation
Rosenberg Foundation
The Rosenberg Foundation, a philanthropic organization in San Francisco established in 1935 at the bequest of California business leader Max L. Rosenberg, has provided close to 2,800 grants totaling nearly $80 million to regional, statewide and national organizations advocating for racial and economic justice throughout California.
As part of our long-term and ongoing work with the foundation, we helped the organization brand and launch a new fund that aims to support the next generation of advocates and leaders in California. We named the fund (Leading Edge Fund), created the core messaging and developed a logo as well as core materials. We also launched the fund using a mix of earned and digital media strategies, and continue to amplify the fund through communications activities, including a #LeadingEdgeIdeas event series.
Finally, we helped lead the foundation through a rebranding process, developing and implementing a new logo and redesigning their organizational website to honor their long and rich history, as well as their focus on some of the most pressing issues for California’s communities. We continue to partner with them on ongoing strategy and implementation, including earned media, thought leadership and social media. As a result, the organization now has more visibility to its intended audiences and is well-positioned as a thought leader on the barriers to opportunity facing some of California’s most vulnerable communities.
